COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The purpose of this class is to provide real estate professionals working in today's diverse real estate environment with the knowledge and information they need to understand the importance of fair housing laws and insure they are responsibly practicing real estate in a nondiscriminatory fashion.

Susan "Missi" Howell
Missi Howell is a Broker Associate located in Jacksonville, Florida. Her career spans some 40+ years, the first 30 being in residential real estate lending from which she retired in 2007. Missi built her business at the beginning of the “Great Recession” in August 2007, working her personal contacts and then newly found systems and skills to build a profitable business while many were abandoning real estate. She joined committees within her local association and Women’s Council of Realtors beginning in 2008 and has been an active volunteer and leader for NEFAR, Women’s Council of Realtors Jacksonville and Florida, as well as Florida Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Missi has been a member of the Florida Realtors Instructor Panel since 2017. Missi has earned the NAR designations of ABR, AHWD, CRS, CIPS, PMN, GRI, RENE, SRES, SRS, C2EX, and was awarded the NEFAR Professional Development Award in 2013, NEFAR Realtor of the Year in 2014, is a 2020 Graduate of the Florida Realtors Leadership Academy and served as the 2021 President of the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors.
Personally, Missi and her husband love to travel, whether it is within the US with their travel trailer or internationally by land, sea, or air. Their passion for exploring geography, cultural and gastronomy of new places as well as meeting new people are a priority of each journey. Missi is a native of West Virginia and has been a resident of Jacksonville since 1992.
