Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your interest in joining Lakeland Realtors®. Please review this application carefully to fully understand these membership options.

Membership procedures:

Submit a COMPLETE application (including required attachments) online. Applications are processed within an average of three business days. Applicants for a membership shall be granted provisional membership. Provisional members will be subject to all the same privileges and obligations of membership. Provisional membership is granted subject to review of the application by the board of directors. If the board of directors determines that the individual does not meet all the qualifications for membership as established in the Association's Bylaws, or, if the individual does not satisfy all the requirements of membership within ninety (60) days from the Association's receipt of their application, membership may, at the discretion of the board of directors, be terminated.

Application Requirements:

✓ Submit complete application

✓ Submit the required attachments (Drivers License & FL Real Estate License)

✓ Submit payment (ONCE APPROVED) online

✓ Complete New Member Orientation Course in person at the Association within (60) days of membership activation.

✓ Complete the National Association of Realtors® Code of Ethics online at https://www.nar.realtor/search-results (National ID number will be required).

✓ Complete the National Association of Realtors® Fair Housing online at https://www.nar.realtor/fair-housing

*Code of Ethics and Fair Housing must be completed within 30 days of membership activation. Applicants for secondary membership may disregard this requirement.

**Notification of approval of provisional membership will be provided to the email used on the application within (3) business days of Association receipt of completed application. Provisional membership will become active upon receipt of applicable dues & fees. Once payment is made online, credentials for access to the Lakeland Realtors® Info Hub & Stellar MLS will be sent via email within (24) hours of the Association's receipt of payment in full.

Designated Realtor® $662 Annually + $730.00 One-Time Fee

A Designated Realtor® is someone who holds a Florida real estate broker or certified appraisers license and does not hold membership in another Realtor® Association. The “Designated REALTOR®” must be a sole proprietor, partner, corporate officer, or branch office manager acting on behalf of the firm’s principals.

Realtor $662 Annually + $380.00 One-Time Fee

A REALTOR® is a Salesperson or Broker Associate whose real estate license is active with a firm whose Designated REALTOR® in a member of Lakeland REALTORS®.

Secondary Out of State Designated Realtor $461 Annually + $380.00 One-Time Fee

A Secondary Out of State Designated Realtor® is someone who holds a Florida real estate broker or certified appraiser's license and holds membership in another Realtor® Association outside of Florida. The “Designated REALTOR®” must be a sole proprietor, partner, corporate officer, or branch office manager acting on behalf of the firm’s principals.

Secondary Designated Realtor $285 Annually + $400.00 One-Time Fee

A Secondary Designated Realtor® is someone who holds a Florida real estate broker or certified appraisers license and holds membership in another Realtor® Association within Florida. The “Designated REALTOR®” must be a sole proprietor, partner, corporate officer, or branch office manager acting on behalf of the firm’s principals.

Secondary Out of State Realtor $461 Annually + $80.00 One-Time Fee

A Secondary Out of State REALTOR® is someone who holds a Florida license (real estate salesperson, broker associate, or certified appraiser) and is active with a firm whose Designated REALTOR® is a member of a REALTOR® Association. The Designated REALTOR® must be a member of Lakeland REALTORS® to receive MLS access.

Secondary Realtor $285 Annually + $50.00 One-Time Fee

A Secondary REALTOR® is someone who holds a Florida license (real estate salesperson, broker associate, or certified appraiser) and is active with a firm whose Designated REALTOR® is a member of a REALTOR® Association. The Designated REALTOR® must be a member of Lakeland REALTORS® to receive MLS access.
