This course meets the FREC Law requirement for license renewal.
When you obtained your license, you studied various aspects of the Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR), the Florida Real Estate Commission (FREC), laws, and administrative codes. You were also introduced to material to help develop the skills recommended for successful real estate practice and/or prepare you for the state examination. Although much of the material taught in pre-license and post-license is considered inconsequential, there are aspects of this training that should be reviewed periodically.
This is the purpose of Core Law – to update you on the current laws and rules and to enlighten any real estate licensee on the areas where DBPR and FREC are reviewing the most infractions.
This course will provide a review of some of the aspects of pre-licensing that may have been forgotten and provide information on the newer laws and rules in real estate, but more so, give you, the student, insight as to the current areas being disciplined by the Florida Real Estate Commission during the past two years.

Meet Your Instructor: Nishad Khan
Nishad Khan, Esq., B.C.S., is a Central Florida-based real estate and Business attorney and is a Florida Bar Board Certified Specialist in Real Estate Law. Over the course of his career, he has represented thousands of clients in all types of real estate transactions.
More than a real estate lawyer, Mr. Khan is also a licensed real estate broker, giving him an insider’s perspective into all stages of the process. He has taught hundreds of classes on topics such as real estate contracts and real estate law fundamentals to thousands of students.
In 2007, he started his law firm, NISHAD KHAN P.L., and leads a dedicated team of attorneys and analysts. His firm is well known for its business acumen, real estate prowess, and deep understanding of the relevant laws governing its areas of expertise.
With over 17 years of experience in Real Estate Law, Mr. Khan has represented buyers and sellers in all aspects of residential and commercial real estate transactions, including entity formation, contract and corporate agreement preparation, debt structuring, equity investments, due diligence, and closings.
