**FREE** Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) Designation - 2 Day Course

Description

Being offered in person at Lakeland REALTORS® the NAR Accredited Buyer's Representative - 2 Day Course offers (8CE) and is the core education requirement to earn the ABR Designation.

The Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) designation is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. This coveted designation demonstrates to peers and consumers your commitment to providing outstanding service for real estate buyers. The goal of the ABR® Designation Course is to establish a foundation of training, skills, and resources to help real estate professionals succeed as buyer representatives. 

Participants learn to:

• Build a buyer-representation business
• Value the services you perform on behalf of buyer-clients
• Increase confidence to work toward a signed buyer representation agreement if written buyer representation agreements are customary in your market
• Gain methods, tools, and techniques to provide the support and services that buyers want

How REALTORS® in the U.S. Earn the ABR® Designation

Education

• Complete the two-day core designation course.
• Complete one of the ABR® elective courses. 

Work Experience

• Documentation of five completed transactions in which you acted solely as a buyer representative.

Professional Affiliation

• Membership in good standing in REBAC
• Membership in good standing in the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).

Application

• Submit the designation application along with documentation of five completed transactions. All must be completed within 3 years. 

Cost

• Cost of the course. Note: The online version of the course will be free through December 31, 2024 (test is required). Free at Lakeland REALTORS® on October 30 & 31 (No test plus 8 CE)
• REBAC Dues
  • First year of REBAC membership is free
  • Second year is $110, but prorated based on the month you joined REBAC
  • $110 per year thereafter

Instructor:

Reese Stewart, ABR, AHWD, MRP, FMS, SFR, GKC, PKC

Reese Stewart holds a Florida Real Estate Broker license and a Florida Real Estate Instructor permit and is the owner of Stewart School of Real Estate, a permitted Florida Real Estate School.

He has been a REALTOR® since 1996. Before starting his real estate career, he served in the U.S. Army for 20 years. Reese has been very active in the Orlando Regional Realtor Association (ORRA). He has served on numerous committees, forums, and task forces at ORRA and the ORRA Board of Directors as a Director and Officer of ORRA. Reese was the 2020 President of the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association.

In addition to teaching numerous courses through the Stewart School of Real Estate, he also currently teaches multiple classes at ORRA including the NAR Code of Ethics, NAR Safety class, and ORRA’s “Excellence in Professionalism” certification classes of Gold Key-GKC and Platinum Key-PKC. He also teaches the New Member Orientation class for new members of ORRA.
