Community Outreach Day with VISTE - Volunteer Sign-Up

Description

VISTE Volunteers sort and pack food items and provide all duties necessary to help maintain the VISTE warehouse. Duties may also include special projects such as bagging, goody bags, flopping bags, and packing produce.

ALL volunteers must have their driver's license with them and be prepared to fill out a short volunteer registration form.
ALL volunteers MUST wear closed-toe shoes (sneakers) for safety. Volunteers wearing open-toe shoes will not be allowed to volunteer.
Members should wear their Lakeland REALTORS® volunteer shirts & comfortable clothing. Members may pick up a shirt at the Association.

VISTE's maximum number of volunteers is 20 - if you plan on bringing a guest to volunteer with you, please reach out to Carrie Roberts.



Volunteers in Service to the Elderly (VISTE) is a community-based, non-profit organization serving Lakeland, Bartow, Mulberry, and Ft. Meade. Established in 1983, VISTE's primary goal is to enable elderly persons aged 70 and above to remain safely and independently in their own homes.

Parking at the front entrance of VISTE is for staff parking and is limited. The adjacent paved parking lot at the NE corner of E. Magnolia St. and N. Lake Parker Ave. belongs to VISTE and is available for volunteers to park.
