Robert Kniss, P.E., Water Utilities Assistant Director, City of Lakeland Water Utilities

Robert will provide an informative overview of the many divisions within Lakeland Water Utilities, highlighting the essential services they provide to support our community and the real estate industry. This session will offer valuable insight into infrastructure, operations, and how water utilities impact development and property ownership.

The presentation will conclude with a Q&A session, allowing you to ask questions and engage directly on topics relevant to your business and clients.

Robby Kniss is an Assistant Director with the City of Lakeland’s Water Utilities Department.  His direct area of work focuses on water and wastewater infrastructure to improve aging facilities and ensure adequate capacity for Lakeland’s existing and future residents.  Robby has held many roles within the Water Utility and Electric Utility during his 30 years with the City.  He earned his degree in Civil Engineering from the University of South Florida in 2001, attained his license as a Professional Engineer in 2010, and recently graduated from the Certified Public Manager program administered by Florida State University.

Licensed Broker/Owners and Broker Associates are invited to attend the Association’s quarterly Broker Lunch Meeting. These meetings provide an opportunity for brokers to connect, share insights, and discuss topics impacting their offices, agents, and the local real estate industry.

Each session includes updates on industry trends, regulatory changes, MLS and Association initiatives, and operational best practices. Open discussion is encouraged, allowing participants to ask questions, exchange ideas, and suggest topics for future meetings.

This collaborative forum is designed to support broker leadership, strengthen professional engagement, and foster meaningful dialogue that benefits the brokerage community and the members they serve.
