Core Law - Stay Out of Trouble with FREC
Tuesday, February 13, 2024 (1:00 PM - 4:00 PM) (EST)
Description
When you obtained your license, you studied various aspects of the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, the Florida Real Estate Commission, laws, and administrative codes, You also were introduced to material that will help develop the skills recommended for successful real estate practice and/or prepare you for the state examination. Although much of the material taught in pre-license and post-license is considered to be inconsequential, there are aspects of this training that should be reviewed every so often. This is the purpose of Core Law – to update you on the current laws and rules and to enlighten any real estate licensee on the areas where the most infractions are being reviewed by the DBPR and the FREC. This course will provide a review of some of the aspects of pre-licensing that may have been forgotten and provide information on the newer laws and rules in real estate - but more so, give you, the student, insight as to the current areas being disciplined by the Florida Real Estate Commission during the past two years.

- Describe the minimum Continuing Education courses for license renewal
- Outline the Florida Real Estate Commission’s Powers and Duties and steps in a potential FREC violation investigation to a final order

- Explain the various rules and Laws that may result in an FREC investigation and appearance in front of the FREC
