The Lancaster Institute (LTI) presents "Fair Housing," a 3-hour Specialty CE credit course.

This course aims to focus on the importance and history of the Federal Fair Housing Act and its application in today's real estate environment. We will discuss how the Department of Housing and Urban Development enforces the Federal Fair Housing Act, as well as review the most common discriminatory practices like service and assistive animals, and how to best handle a reasonable accommodation request. We will also examine examples of Federal Fair Housing complaints and discuss Federal Fair Housing initiatives and resources.

This course meets the NAR biennial Fair Housing requirement.

Instructor:

Brent Lancaster combines his love of the business of real estate with his passion for education. As President/CEO of one of the nation’s oldest real estate schools, he offers a variety of solutions to the challenges agents face in today’s real estate environment.

In 2003, Brent developed his first online course and has spent every year since searching for innovative ways to bring quality and consistency to every agent using multiple delivery formats. All LTI classes are offered via On-Live™, a live-streaming “virtual classroom” platform. Instructions for access to On-Live™ and class materials will be emailed to registrants the day before the scheduled class date.

Attendees must be on time, on camera, and present for the entire class to receive CE credit.
