Jennifer Canaday is a lifelong Lakeland resident, educator, and community leader with deep roots in Polk County. A graduate of Kathleen High School, Florida State University, and the University of South Florida, she began her career teaching fifth grade before joining Lakeland Christian School, where she has served for the past 15 years as Director of the RISE Institute (Research, Innovation, STEM Learning, and Entrepreneurship). She also coaches the school's FIRST Tech Challenge robotics team, inspiring students through STEM education and community outreach.

Beyond the classroom, Jennifer enjoys serving the community through the Urban Farm at Mass Market, where she helps grow food to connect with and support local residents. She and her husband, Charles, have been married for more than 25 years, have two daughters, and are active members of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Lakeland.

Along with representing District 50 within the Florida State House of Representatives, Jennifer also serves on the following Committees:
