VET⭐FEST offers a valuable opportunity to showcase the services, resources, and support the Lakeland Realtors® organization provides to veterans and their families. 

The Fair Housing booth is hosted by the Lakeland Realtors® Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Fair Housing Committee.

Volunteer Sign-Up - We are looking for 4-5 people to volunteer at the booth.

There will only be one shift for this Fair Housing Booth that includes:

• 8-9 A.M.  - Set-up
• 9 A.M. - Noon - VET⭐FEST open for attendees. Volunteers will share about Fair Housing, answer attendee questions, and show the community that "REALTORS® Are Good Neighbors."
• Noon-12:30 - Pack-up
• NOTE: This event is indoors and air-conditioned.

🛻Transport + Volunteer (1 person) This volunteer will pick up the tent, chairs, materials, tablecloth, etc from the Association Office by 4:30 p.m.the day prior. They will also be responsible for returning all booth materials by November 24, 2026.

EVENT INFO:
The primary goal of VET⭐️FEST is to connect veterans and their families with essential services in one convenient location. On-site assistance will include VA health care enrollment, toxic exposure screenings, VA claims assistance, women’s health, mental health, whole health, Vet Center support, and more. Representatives from the James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital will also be present to provide services and support.

To keep the event focused on delivering vital resources, participating organizations may not solicit donations or sell products or services. Promotional gifts and giveaway items are permitted but must be valued at $10 or less.

Veterans and their families are not required to register in advance. The event is free and open to all veterans and their families.

Each participating organization will receive one table and two chairs. Exhibitors are encouraged to bring a tablecloth.
