Earn the NAR "At Home With Diversity" (AHWD) certification and earn 7 Specialty CE credits. (In Person)

REALTORS® know the importance of adapting and remaining relevant in today’s marketplace. By developing a business practice rooted in inclusion and equality, REALTORS® can help buyers of all cultural backgrounds achieve the dream of homeownership. The At Home With Diversity® (AHWD) certification course covers how to work effectively with diverse populations so that you can build business success in today’s multicultural real estate market.

Topics Covered:

Developing an increased awareness of cultural and personal biases that may inhibit you from fully embracing diversity and creating a successful multicultural real estate business

Inclusive, multicultural marketing and advertising strategies to broaden your client base

Formulating an inclusive business plan to help you create an enduring business that can adapt and evolve to an ever-changing marketplace

Additional Details

This course is the main requirement for the At Home With Diversity® (AHWD) certification. Successful completion of this course also fulfills the elective course requirement to earn the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) designation and the Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) designation.

Gonzalo Mejia

Gonzalo is originally from Lima, Peru where he studied Industrial Engineering. After moving to the States in 2001 he started his real estate career in 2004 in Pensacola, FL. Gonzalo moved to Jacksonville, FL in 2009 where he currently leads a successful multilingual real estate team. He has over 25 years of experience teaching different topics and has been a real estate license instructor since 2013. Gonzalo is a national and international speaker and feels extremely lucky to be given the opportunity to share his experiences with Realtors across the globe. He believes the most important part of the learning process is having FUN. He considers “Sarcasm” should be his middle name. Gonzalo also has educated himself and earned the following designations: ABR, CIPS, CRB, CRS, GRI, SRS, C2EX, AHWD, C-RETS, e-PRO, PSA, and RENE.
