Matt has been working in the real estate industry in Florida since 2015. His experience includes running a successful law practice with multiple offices across the state, owning/operating a title company, buying and selling real estate for personal and professional use, assisting investors in the wholesaling of real estate for fix and flip transactions, structuring seller financing, and more. The focus at Matt's law firm is on real estate, but the additional services his firm provides includes estate planning and probate administration.
Matt's offices handle an average of more than 50 real estate transactions every month. He sees firsthand where many local realtors often miss the mark when it comes to following the rules. He is active with the Naples Area Board of Realtors as a long-standing member (going on his 8th year in 2023) on the legal resources committee, which is charged with educating the local membership and keeping brokers out of trouble and compliant with the laws. He is also an RPAC Major Investor, Crystal R.
Matt was born and raised in Palm Beach County, Florida. He pursued higher education after being in the work force for several years and returned to school in 2007. He ultimately graduated with honors and earned a bachelor's degree in Political Science at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. He then graduated with honors and earned his law degree at the University of Florida college of law. Shortly after passing the bar exam in 2014, Matt moved with his wife and oldest son to Naples, FL. In 2015 Matt founded the law firm, Goodwin Law, P.A., and has offices in Naples, Palm Beach and Tampa. He currently lives in Naples with his wife and two sons.
