Meet the Speakers

Cherie Blalock, Senior Trainer
Cherie first joined First American in 2003 in North Central Florida and has nearly 40 years of title industry experience. Her expertise covers management, operations, both commercial and residential closings, and agency representation. Cherie excels in customer service through strong communication, problem-solving, and technical skills.
Throughout her career, she has prepared and delivered informative seminars and workshops on a wide range of industry topics. Her deep knowledge of the real estate and title industry benefits agents statewide.
Licensed as a Florida title agent since 1994, Cherie is an active FLTA member with a Certified Land-Title Closer (CLC) designation. Her expertise makes her a trusted trainer and resource for First American Title agents across Florida.

Rachel Sganga, Team Manager
Rachel Sganga joined First American in May 2022 as a Florida Educational Trainer. With more than 10 years of experience in the title and mortgage industry, she brings valuable insight to the educational programs offered by the Florida Division of First American Title Insurance Company. She leads engaging seminars and training sessions for agents, their teams, and customers, helping them strengthen their skills and enhance business practices.
Prior to First American, Rachel began her career with a North Florida law firm, gaining hands-on experience in title, escrow, and closings. She later served as a mortgage closer for a national lender, further expanding her industry expertise. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Florida State University and is a State of Florida Licensed Notary Public.
Rachel is passionate about supporting agents and customers with practical, insightful education that drives meaningful results.
