In a time when personal safety is paramount, Realtors® have increasingly been taking proactive measures to protect themselves and their businesses.

Self-defense class: The class will consist of 30 minutes for information, tours, changing, and then a 1 hour instruction class. 

According to National Association of Realtors® data, real estate professionals have implemented safety protocols, including meeting new customers in their offices or neutral locations, attending self-defense classes and carrying self-defense tools. Despite these precautions, Realtors are still taking chances: NAR’s 2023 safety survey showed that 85% of residential members have shown a property alone compared to 42% percent in 2022.

As September’s Realtor Safety Month begins, Florida Realtors® wants to help Realtors protect themselves and their businesses. Our information and resources will help you stay vigilant, minimize risks and ensure a safer working environment.
